****NEW PROGRAM****
Me & Mom
(Starting at age 2)
This class is similar to our preschool program with the helping hands of a parent. This class does not participate in Recital. The children will learn basic ballet, tumble, and tap.
Ballet-Tumble Play or Tap-Tumble Play
(Ages 3-5)
This course is designed to introduce the little ones to the varieties of music and basic movements of the body. The ballet program consists of barre work, center exercise and progressive steps across the floor. The tap program introduces the little ones to the rhythmic sounds that are created by the feet, also using the barre, center exercises and progressive steps across the floor.
Our tumble play portion helps the little ones with their stretch, balance and gross motor skills. We do this by incorporating several fun activities such as parachute games, pogo horses, tumbling on gymnsatic mats, skipping, etc.

CLIENT TESTIMONIALS
We are extremely pleased to be part of Hampstead Dance Academy. Over the past eight years, my daughter has been encouraged and inspired to reach her full potential. She has blossomed from a small, uncertain child into a determined, confident and skilled dancer.
The students at Hampstead Dance receive exceptional training from accomplished and experienced dance educators who love what they do. That love of dance and teaching is reflected in each and every one of their students. We love being part of the Hampstead Dance family!
Denise
My daughter is entering her fifth year of dancing at HDA. Being new to the area 4 years ago, our concerns included her being able to continue dancing.
She has learned so much more than the art of dance, she is more confident, more responsible and has learned the value of teamwork.
The staff at HDA are knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. My daughter is very happy and so are we.

I have two children, both boys. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine myself involved with dance classes and recitals. When my first son was 3 years old, my mother-in-law prompted me to enroll him in Hampstead Dance Academy’s tap and tumble class. Ms. Donna, the owner of Hampstead Dance Academy, had made quite an impression on my mother-in-law and I was not the first to be sent there on her recommendation. I reluctantly entered my son into a class full of frilly pink, high pitched, energetic, little, bouncy girls. He loved every minute of it, and I hid in the car, embarrassed because, ‘dance was for girls’.
Try as I might, I could not talk my son out of taking dance classes. He continued with dance for 7 years and inspired his brother to follow in his footsteps at the Academy. Donna has never made either of my sons feel awkward about dance; instead, she has taught them confidence, poise, dignity and strength of character. With Donna’s guidance, my sons have taught me some important lessons as well:
1. Dance is not just for girls.
2. If you enjoy something, stick with it, and try your hardest.

I enrolled my daughter in dance classes five years age at HDA to gain some self confidence. Not only has she fulfilled her goal, she has established some dear and lasting friendships. She looks forward to every dance class and often makes us arrive early! Donna Schipani is not only a talented and dedicated teacher, she’s a role model that I’m proud to have my daughter look up to!
Michelle
My daughter has been dancing at Hampstead Dance Academy since she was 3 years old. Dance has been beneficial for her. It has helped her with coordination and memorization skills. Most of all it has helped her confidence. Confidence to stand up in a group of people and deliver an oral presentation. Confidence to dance in a recital or dance competition. Thank you Hampstead Dance Academy for instilling self-esteem and confidence in the children at your academy.

Our family has a deep appreciation for HDA and the professionalism shown towards each parent and student. You and your staff strive to ensure that every student benefit from a positive experience. You run a great studio and it’s obvious your love of dancing as well as your love for your students. We can not thank you enough for your very hard work and determination. We Love it at HDA!
